My name’s Fiona. I’ve been a client of Lomond Wealth since August 2025, and Sophie McDonald is my financial adviser.

Sophie’s helped over the years with all stages of life, like my children going through university and financially helping them out with that, moving house, downsizing, and looking to take early retirement. So, I had questions like what’s the best avenue to go down? Would it be viable for me to take early retirement? Will I be financially sound for all these years? Throughout it all, she’s gone and looked at absolutely everything.

I knew Sophie from a previous company, and I looked around to see where she was moving to. She’s one person who was a constant with regard to my family matters. She knew the family and what I actually needed.

Sophie McDonald, my adviser, is a lovely person inside and out. She knows her stuff, she qualified back in 2018, she advises you, she’s friendly, she listens to what you need and what you want and can offer you advice. She’ll do what she can to help.

I’m absolutely delighted to be working with Sophie and the Lomond team. In any interaction I’ve had with them, they have all been so friendly, mannerly, and just a dream. It’s a dream team.

The best advice Sophie has given to me so far is not to worry about my financial situation, because she’s looked into it thoroughly, checked everything out, and she just says, “Don’t worry, because you will be fine until your old age.” So, I’m happy.

The words I would use to describe Sophie are trustworthy and honest. She’s a lovely person. She’s very professional, but there are not enough words to describe how she works. She is a superstar.

One of the best things about working with Sophie and being at Lomond Wealth is its location for traveling, but with Sophie, it’s the continuation of support that she’s given to me over the years, with family, with advice to relieve my worries about whether I am going to be able to live how I’d like for the rest of my life, whether I am going to be financially secure. She’ll look into everything and help me out. She’s just a wonderful, wonderful person.
